to their field of expertise, therefore ensuring high quality advice
to clients. At all times, we aim to provide a personal, friendly
and efficient service to clients, with an emphasis on flexibility,
responsiveness and good communication.
The firm has a well established network of local contacts and professional
advisers. We also work closely with law firms in other cities and
states, enabling us to service clients locally, regionally and interstate.

Vision & Strategy
Our decisions revolve around achieving agreed objectives. Our vision is not to be the biggest but to be the best - the best regional law firm in Victoria. We are achieving this by recruiting the right people with expertise, combined with a strong client service ethic. We then provide them with the best resources, facilities, training and management.
Values & Ethics
We value our staff. Our people are our product. We value our clients - they are our business.
We will not compromise our quality or service to achieve cost solutions and outcomes.
We aim to exceed client expectations.
Culture & Service
We aim to be personal and friendly, establish longterm relationships and provide high quality efficient services to each other and our clients.
Corporate Citizenship
We believe our business has a social obligation to share its resources by assisting the community generally. As such we have developed a firm culture that is well supported by the staff to conduct fund raising, our lawyers participate on boards of local charitable groups, provide pro bono services and actively participate in community programs.
In November 2004, the firm was recognised for its corporate citizenship through the Bollies Award, which recognises substantial community service by local businesses.

Industry Focus
To understand the environment in which our clients operate we focus on key industry sectors so that we are familiar with the issues and developments affecting clients, enabling us to provide superior value and enhanced client service.
Manufacturing, Industrial & Wholesale
Imports, exports, tariffs, trade and associated contractual and product liability issues now make manufacturing a complex area in which to operate. Storage and distribution centres rely heavily on supply and distribution contracts to ensure their businesses survive.

Property & Construction
The Geelong and surf coast region continues to develop through subdivisions whilst major projects such as shopping centres, new constructions and off the plan continue to develop.
 Retail & Hospitality
Our hospitality industry has exploded over the years with tourism and change in lifestyle having the greatest impact. Our retail sector continues to grow and competition is fierce.

Professional Services
As service providers accountants, all members of the medical profession, financial planners, brokers and bankers must ensure their contracts are watertight and their professional indemnity obligations are addressed.
 Health & Aged Care
Geelong and the surf coast have long been a popular choice for retirees and retirement villages, nursing homes, and hospitals and health services develop and respond to the population demands.
 Transport
From shipping to rail, trucking, airlines and storage has become an integrated network of multi modal businesses with specific industry issues impacting on their operations.

Education
Educational facilities from schools to universities and training centres are now businesses with complex, specific business needs, liabilities, compliance issues and obligations.
 Sport & Leisure
As sport becomes more sophisticated and professional the legal issues arising such as sponsorship contracts and incorporation become imperative to the success of players and clubs.
