Peter has over 20 years experience in the law. With particular
expertise in: purchase and sale of businesses, commercial leases,
business structuring including franchising, contracts and agreements,
corporate compliance, and trade practices, Peter provides advice
to retailers, manufacturers, clubs, developers, and investors.

Simon was recruited to the firm from Blake Dawson Waldron in
Melbourne. He has particular interest and expertise in acting
for and against public bodies, providing advice on decision
making procedures, licence/permit applications, the exercise
of statutory powers, statutory interpretation and conducting
judicial reviews. He has expertise in drafting secondary legislation,
codes of practice, industry guidelines and delegations. Simon
has acted for major Government Departments and Statutory Authorities
in Australia and the UK. He has also been involved in major
infrastructure projects and is an experienced advocate, having
qualified and practiced in the UK as a barrister. Simon acts
for commercial clients in various sectors including utilities,
property development, construction and transport..

Vaughan has over 26 years experience in general practice including
property law which is now his key area of practice. He provides
expertise in: real estate purchases and sales, subdivisions,
leasing, planning laws, contracts and agreements. Vaughan also
advises on wills, probate, trusts and the property aspects of
family law matters. Vaughan also manages our branch office in
Anglesea which he attends twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.

With a longstanding commercial and business planning career
Kevin Roache recently qualified as an Accredited Specialist
in Wills & Estate Planning with the Law Institute of Victoria.
Kevin heads our Wills, Estates & Succession Group developed
in response to the ever growing market trend towards longterm
retirement and superannuation planning. Kevin advises on succession
planning, complex trust structuring, tax, superannuation, estate
planning, powers of attorney, probate and Wills. Kevin is a
member of the Committee for Geelong and a Director of the Bendigo
Bank.

heads the Intellectual Property Group. He is also
a Registered Patent and Trade Marks Attorney. Julien
has acted for universities, hospitals, research consortiums,

and individuals.

White – Partner

As Head of the firm's Commercial Group Tom has a Law
Degree (Honours) and a Commerce Degree. He takes a
commercial approach to transactions working closely
with clients' Accountants and Financial Planners on
a wide range of transactions. Tom works closely with
clients on major projects from initial negotiations
and due dilligence through to the preparation and
settlement of complex business transactions.
He advises
on partnership and shareholder agreements, arrangements
and disputes as well as tax issues, asset protection
and finance issues. Tom also has expertise in joint
ventures, mergers and acquisitions, sale of businesses
and lease matters, business structuring, franchising,
contracts and agreements including MOAs and HOAs,
tenders, prospectus' and trade practices issues.
