About the role

In this newly created role, you will lead and manage our Property & Development and conveyancing teams.

With demonstrated leadership ability, creating the environment for success for our people, our clients and our referrer network is a crucial part of this position.

Your client focus is second to none, and you lead by example.  You will have extensive knowledge and experience in the following:

  • the Duties Act 2000 (Vic), Sale of Land Act 1962 (Vic), Land Tax Act 2005 (Vic);
  • complex trust arrangements and SMSF’s;
  • small to complex real estate transactions;
  • banking and finance knowledge and
  • corporate, commercial and leasing knowledge.

You will be actively involved in leading business development for the department, and possess the knowledge and skills to create and grow client relationships.

Ideally, you will be a Senior Associate or Special Counsel and looking to develop your leadership career with a trusted firm, based in Geelong.

You will deliver:

You will bring:

  • A minimum of five years’ post admission experience in property and development
  • Resilience and a commitment to excellence;

  • Solid experience leading and managing growing teams and managing change;
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive and flexible attitude
