One of Australia’s most experienced and highly regarded lawyers, David Galbally AM QC, has joined law firm Coulter Roache.
Mr Galbally has joined as a Principal Lawyer and is focusing on litigation and general commercial legal advice, based at the Coulter Roache Geelong and Surf Coast offices. He started in the role this month.
Coulter Roache Managing Principal Anne O’Loughlin said: “We are delighted that David Galbally AM QC has joined Coulter Roache. David’s exceptional legal knowledge and experience is a wonderful asset to the firm and his commitment to serving our clients and the community aligns with our values.
“He brings extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution including employment contracts, sports law issues, directors and trustees duties, and risk governance. David’s background and experience is a great addition to our already strong team and we welcome him to the firm,” Ms O’Loughlin said.
A Bellbrae resident for more than 20 years, Mr Galbally is deeply involved in the Geelong and Surf Coast community and keen to impart his vast knowledge to the next generation of lawyers at Coulter Roache. He is one of very few QCs currently practising as a lawyer within Australia, a change he says was important to him in building and maintaining professional relationships and sharing his knowledge with others.
Mr Galbally said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Coulter Roache team and a law firm that is so highly respected in Victoria. The firm has an absolute commitment to caring for its clients and for the communities it has been helping for decades.
