Media release: David Galbally AM QC joins Coulter Legal

One of Australia’s most experienced and highly regarded lawyers, David Galbally AM QC, has joined law firm Coulter Legal.

Mr Galbally has joined as a Principal Lawyer and is focusing on litigation and general commercial legal advice, based at the Coulter Legal Geelong and Surf Coast offices. He started in the role this month.

A Bellbrae resident for more than 20 years, Mr Galbally is deeply involved in the Geelong and Surf Coast community and keen to impart his vast knowledge to the next generation of lawyers at Coulter Legal.  He is one of very few QCs currently practising as a lawyer within Australia, a change he says was important to him in building and maintaining professional relationships and sharing his knowledge with others.

Mr Galbally is currently the Chair of an Industry Superannuation Fund and has previously held board positions including Chair of the Melbourne Knights Soccer Club, Board Member of the Collingwood Football Club, President of Alzheimer’s Australia Victoria and Chair of the Centre for Hormone Research at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Coulter Legal has a team of nearly 80 professionals providing expertise in Agribusiness, Conveyancing, Corporate & Commercial, Estate Administration, Family & Relationship Law, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Property & Development, Wills & Succession Planning and Workplace Relations.

Coulter Legal operate from four locations in Victoria, including Geelong, Torquay and Melbourne and last year expanded into South Australia.
