Lauren is a Lawyer in our Wills, Estates & Succession Planning team. She graduated from Deakin University in 2019 with a double degree of Law and Arts (Media Communications) with Distinction and has completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law.
She enjoys meeting with clients to discuss their matters, getting to know their objectives and providing them with thoughtful, thorough advice. Lauren has a particular interest in the requirements for gifting and inheriting digital assets, to avoid potential issues with identity theft and loss of access to accounts.
Lauren is currently serving a three-year term on the Board of Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS), is the Marketing and Communications Director for the Deakin Law School Alumni Chapter and is a member of Women in Local Democracy’s communications sub-committee. Lauren has been awarded Deakin University’s Vice-Chancellor's Medal for Outstanding Contribution to University Life and the City of Greater Geelong’s Youth Award in the Leadership and Positive Role Model category. In 2020 she was a finalist in the Geelong Advertiser’s Women of the Year Awards, as well as the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards and Women in Law Awards
