Matthew is a Senior Lawyer in our Family Law team and acts for clients in all aspects of family law but more particularly complex property, financial and multifaceted family law disputes.
He has presented on the intersection between family law and bankruptcy at the Television Education Network, and has presented at the Tax Institute on the intersection between insolvency, bankruptcy and family law. Matthew has a particular interest and focus in tax effective outcomes, and has undertaken a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne focusing on capital gains tax, corporate taxation and taxation of business and investment income.
Prior to joining Coulter Roache, Matthew worked exclusively in family law, with experience at a specialist family law firm in Melbourne.
He provides strategic advice with the purpose of achieving commercial and cost-effective outcomes for his clients.
